The FichtiArt Festival is inspired by the landscape and history of the Peloponnese to propose a new, sustainable relationship with the place.
Two of its main actions illuminate this vision: the revival of the region’s historic railway and the promotion of traditional hiking trails.
The old train, once a connecting link between communities, is transformed into a cultural route that reconnects people, memories and landscapes. At the same time, the paths that once connected villages and people with their land are made accessible again, inviting us to a gentle exploration of nature and our cultural identity.
Through these initiatives, the Festival proposes an alternative development proposal – with respect for the environment, communities and history.
